30th of May 2006 – “Off the Walls”
Today was one of those days when you wanted the day to move
faster than it could simply because it was just plain boring. The entire day
was just all about waiting for the downloads to finish; no new stuff, no trips,
nothing new. All it was, was waiting- waiting for something that will be done
some time tomorrow.
Internet surfing doesn’t help to suppress the boredom
because if one did, it would prolong the waiting hours.
I woke up earlier than usual because I’ve been sleeping a
few hours earlier than usual for the past week. It wasn’t a good thing because all it meant
was I need to find more things to do.
I went downstairs to start the download of the PC in the
office. I noticed that the things that the certificates that I’ve done yesterday
were moved so I was thinking that my mother got them already. (It turned out
that she didn’t move the certificates.)
Over the course of the day I tried playing some games that
were still up and running. Thankfully, I bought an original game which means
better quality CDs. Although there are good quality pirated CDs out there,
nothing beats the original. (Who am I kidding? Bargain prices with almost the
same quality. Yeah yeah I’m robbing the company blah blah blah)
I also tried playing X-Men Legends 2 with my brother. He
always tends to make some lame excuse when there are some stuff that requires a
little work. I hate it when he does that. It tends to show how lazy he is.
Imagine what it would be like if he still would be lazy ten years from now. I
intend to support my siblings’ schooling but I don’t intend of making one of
them a parasite to the others.
One of the pipes of the faucets on the1st floor got busted.
A plumber came and totally ripped us off. He “bought” the required parts. He just
got them out of his house hence no receipt. He even charged 500 Php for a less
than 30 minutes work. What a rip off!
This week’s episode of CSI:NY made me remember something
that I always wanted to do- compose something through writing it on a wall. But
in the episode, the killer wrote a book all over the place; he even wrote the
end of the book on the murder victim.
The original idea of about the posts was supposed to be on
the wall behind a desk so that no one would be able to notice. But as time
passed, I realized that although writing it on the wall would seem cool, what
would happen once I ran out of space to write on? What would’ve happened if we transferred
to some place else? What would the new tenants think of it? So- writing on the
walls wasn’t an option anymore.
End.
